Oil production in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District down 0.5% in H1, gas output down 1.5%

KHANTY-MANSIYSK. July 23 (Interfax) - Oil production in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District decreased by 0.5% year-on-year to 129.637 million tonnes in January-June 2012, the district's resource use department told Interfax.

Gas production in the first half went down by 1.5% year-on-year to 17.894 billion cubic meters.

It was earlier reported that oil output in the district declined 1.3% to 262.482 million tonnes in 2011. Gas production increased by 1% to 36.604 bcm last year.

Oil production in the district is expected to decline by 1.5% to 258.5 million tonnes in 2012.
