Sheremetyevo increases IFRS net profit 56% in 2011

MOSCOW. July 26. (Interfax) - OJSC Sheremetyevo International Airport increased its net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by 56% to 2.172 billion rubles in 2011, the airport said in its financial statement.

"According to the audit results of the consolidated financial statement to IFRS, OJSC Sheremetyevo International Airport's revenue, including OJSC Terminal, totaled 11.415 billion rubles for 2011, which is 19.52% more than in 2010," the company said.

Assets climbed 85.24% to 60.968 billion rubles last year.

This April, Sheremetyevo's reorganization by means of merging OJSC Terminal to it was completed.

Sheremetyevo boosted the number of serviced passengers by 16.7% to 22.5 million people last year. The Russian government owns 83.04% of the airport's shares, OJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines owns 8.96%, Vnesheconombank owns 4.24% and VTB owns 3.76%.
