Timchenko sells his stake in Surgutex
MOSCOW. July 26. (Interfax) - Entrepreneur Gennady Timchenko, who co-owns oil trader Gunvor, has sold 51% of LLC Surgutex through Cyprus-based Infotarget Consultants Ltd., according to Interfax's SPARK database.
Timchenko's representative confirmed that the sale had indeed been made but declined to comment any further.
Timchenko's long-time partner, Pyotr Kolbin, who owns 49% of Surgutex, has also sold his stake, according to SPARK. Surgutex trades petroleum products from the Kirishi Oil Refinery, which belongs to Surgutneftegas .
Surgutex stakes have belonged to Vladimir Isayev (34%), Andrei Spiridonov (33%) and Tatyana Dergacheva (33%) since April.
Isayev previously owned just 0.16% of Surgutex, as did Alexander Dergachev. Surgutex's new owners also hold stakes in another of Timchenko's companies - Transoil CIS.
