OGK-1, OGK-3 get new boards of directors chairmen

MOSCOW. July 26. (Interfax) - The boards of directors of generating companies OJSC OGK-1 and OJSC OGK-3 , which are controlled by Russian energy company Inter RAO UES , elected new chairmen at a meeting on July 9, the companies said in a statement.

OGK-1's new board chairman is the head of its Production Efficiency Analysis Department Olga Pankratova, and the head of the Technical Policy Department of Inter RAO's Production Activities Block Alexander Matveyev is the new chairman of OGK-3's board of directors.

Inter RAO CEO Boris Kovalchuk was previously the chairman of both generating companies' boards of directors.

In addition, the composition of the following committees has been approved - the audit committees, remunerations and HR committees, strategy and investment committees, as well as the corporate management committee at OGK-3.

OGK-1 has installed capacity of 9.531 GW and includes the Perm, Verkhny Tagil, Kashirsky, Urengoy and Iriklinsky State District Power Plants (GRES), as well as 75% of the Nizhnevartovsk GRES. OGK-3 includes the Kostroma, Pechora, Cherepetsk, Kharanorsky, Gusinoozyorsk and Yuzhnouralsk GRES, with combined installed capacity of over 8 GW.

Inter RAO owns 75.02% of OGK-1's charter capital and over 80% of OGK-3's.
