Limonov held by police in central Moscow

MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - Moscow police have arrested Eduard Limonov, leader of The Other Russia, a non-registered movement, on Triumfalnaya Square.

Limonov was going to attend an unsanctioned opposition rally in support of Article 31 of the Constitution, but was arrested, an Interfax correspondent said.

Earlier police arrested opposition activist Konstantin Kosyakin in the square. More demonstrators were arrested later.

Since demonstrators were resisting the arrest, the police had to drag them by their arms and legs.
