Uralkali cuts charter capital by 5% after reorganization
MOSCOW. Aug 3. (Interfax) - Uralkali reduced its charter capital by 5.1% after its reorganization, the company said in a statement.
The number of shares in Uralkali's capital fell from 3,094,637,000 to 2,936,016,000. These changes were registered in the company's charter on August 1.
"The decrease in charter capital came as a result of the merger of IC Silvinit-Resurs and JV Kama into Uralkali and the cancellation of Uralkali's ordinary shares, constituting approximately 5.126% of the Company's charter capital and including those purchased to-date pursuant to the Company's buyback program, which was announced in October 2011, held by IC Silvinit-Resurs and JV Kama," the statement said.
