Terrorist attack conducted in Grozny - source

MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - An explosion has occurred in Grozny's Oktyabrsky district on Monday.

Several people have been killed and wounded in the attack, the law enforcement agencies for the Northern Caucasus Federal District told Interfax in a phone interview.

The explosive device is believed to have been set off by a suicide bomber. There may have been two suicide bombers.

Operatives and investigators are working at the site. Mine disposal experts are examining the area to rule out the presence of other bombs there.
