Advanced samples will account for 80% of Russian Air Force weapons in ten years - commander

MOSCOW. Aug 10 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Air Force will be provided with fundamentally new aircraft and air defense means within the next few years, Air Force Commander Lt. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said.

"State-of-the-art samples should start to account for 80% of the overall amount of combat aircraft and air defense means within the next ten years," he said at an international conference marking the 100th anniversary of Russia's Air Force in Moscow.
