PPF group gets Uralkali stock in swap for Nomos Bank stake
MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - The purchase of a stock interest in Nomos Bank from the Czech group PPF was done by means of a swap, a statement issued by the financial company Otkrytie says.
In exchange for the Nomos stake, PPF received stock in fertilizer-maker OJSC Uralkali . In calculating the deal the parties used a ratio of 3.44 Uralkali shares per single Nomos share - 0.344 of an Uralkali GDR for one Nomos GDR.
The Uralkali stock needed for the swap was acquired by Otkrytie from the Ist group, which has stakes in Nomos and Uralkali capital.
Settlement of the deal was completed at the end of the trading day on August 10.
As reported, Otkrytie acquired 18,392,520 Nomos shares.
