MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax/Sport-Express) - Representatives of the Russian Rugby Federation and the Russian Professional Rugby League discussed on Wednesday the Monday attack at two RC Spartak players by RC Slava fans.
"Participants in the meeting made a decision to send to clubs proposals on improving interaction with fans and considering a possibility of changing the regulations the way that police officers who will prevent fans from drinking alcohol are present together with doctors at rugby games," Russian Rugby Federation spokesman Nikolai Dulev told Interfax on Wednesday.
Sergei Yevseyev, a Spartak player attacked by Slava fans, feels better, Dulev said. "I talked with Sergei personally yesterday. He feels far better. He can see. One feared for his eyes, because he had recently undergone an operation on his eyes," he said.
Speaking about prospects of punishing the attackers, Dulev said that neither Yevseyev, nor another victims of the attack Eldar Nasrullayev turned to police.
It was reported earlier that fans of the Moscow-based RC Slava attacked players of another Moscow-based RC Spartak GM after a Monday game between the two teams.
