Oil production in Russia up 1.1% in 7M

MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax) - There was 299 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate produced in Russia in the period January-July this year, a 1.1% year-on-year increase, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

Natural gas output, including associated gas, was down 3.6% for the period at 382 billion cubic meters (bcm).

Primary oil refining in Russia amounted to 155 million tonnes in January-July, 4.0% more year-on-year.

Rosstat data indicate that output of automotive gasoline varieties in the country weighed in at 21.7 million tonnes, a 3.1% year-on-year increase. But diesel fuel output was down 3.9% at 40.0 million tonnes. Russian oil refineries produced 43.1 million tonnes of fuel oil, up 1.9%.
