"Suicide bombing" the main theory in Ingushetia blast probe
ROSTOV-ON-DON. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Suicide bomb attack will be the main theory in the probe into Sunday's blast in Malgobek, Ingushetia, a spokesman for the republic's top investigative agency told Interfax.
"It could have been carried out by a suicide bomber, which can be judged from the head of a man found at the scene, who remains unidentified. No crater formed at the bombing scene, which can be additional evidence of a suicide bomb attack," he said.
Efforts are being made to establish the suicide bomber's identity, he added.
A source in the republic interior ministry told Interfax that the number of people injured in the incident has increased to eleven.
"Eleven injured policemen are in intensive care," he said.
