OSCE PA delegates to arrive in Georgia ahead of elections

TBILISI. Aug 20 (Interfax) - A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will pay a visit to Georgia on August 20 to last until August 22.

The delegation is comprised of Parliamentary Assembly President Riccardo Migliori, Vice President Tonino Picula and Secretary General Spencer Oliver.

The delegates will get acquainted with the situation in Georgia ahead of the elections and monitor the election campaign.

They will meet with representatives of Georgia's political organizations, of international and local monitoring groups, with members of the election administration, parliamentary officials and diplomats.

Talks are to be held with President Mikhail Saakashvili.
