Russneft buys TNK-BP assets in Novosibirsk Region for $400-$450 mln
MOSCOW. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Oil company RussNeft has bought OJSC TNK-BP Holding assets OJSC Novosibirskneftegas and OJSC Severnoyeneftegas in Novosibirsk Region for $400-$450 million, a source close to the deal told Interfax.
TNK-BP announced on Friday that it was getting completely out of Novosibirskneftegas capital.
A source close to the RussNeft shareholders told Interfax last month that the sale had been completed.
RussNeft had owned Severnoyeneftegas before, but sold it to TNK-BP in 2007.
Novosibirskneftegas operates mainly at the Verkh-Tarskoye oil deposit in northern Novosibirsk Region, where recoverable oil resources amount to 16.71 million tonnes. As of the first of this year, the company held licenses to develop that, the Rakitinskoye, and the Vestocho-Mezhovskoye deposits in the region. Oil output at the Verkh-Tarskoye deposit amounted to 723,000 tonnes in 2011, 39% less than for 2010. The production plan for this year is 538,000 tonnes.
Severnoyeneftegas planned to produce 151,070 tonnes of oil and sell 150,944 tonnes last year.
