Putin reshuffles staff at Interior Ministry
MOSCOW. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree dismissing the deputy head of the Interior Ministry's Main Directorate for Internal Security, Police Maj. Gen. Igor Baranov, and the deputy head of the Ministry's Main Directorate for Economic Security and Countering Corruption, Col. Andrei Zdor.
The same document also sacked the Deputy Director of the CIS Coordination Bureau for Combating Organized and Other Dangerous Crimes, Maj. Gen. Sergei Zubkov.
The document was posted on the Kremlin's website on Wednesday.
