Three Georgian policemen killed in security operation - Georgian Interior Ministry

TBILISI. Aug 29 (Interfax) - Three Georgian special operations soldiers have been killed and five others wounded in an operation to block a subversive group in Lopota Gorge on the Georgian border with Russia, the Georgian Interior Ministry has reported.

Eleven members of the armed group have been neutralized and six continue offering resistance. The operation to neutralize them is continuing, the Georgian Interior Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
