UralChem expects revenue, production to grow 20% in 2012
BEREZNIKI, Perm territory. Aug 30 (Interfax) - UralChem expects to boost its revenue to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by 20% this year to $2.5 billion, Deputy Chairman of UralChem's Board of Directors Dmitry Osipov said during a meeting with the governor of the Perm territory on Thursday.
He did not specify the amount of net profit that the company expects for 2012, saying only that it "hopes to keep it at last year's level."
In 2011, UralChem's revenue to IFRS totaled $2.08 billion, and it had $445 million in net earnings.
The company plans to turn out 6 million tonnes of product this year, a 20% increase over 2011, Osipov said.
The UralChem Holding includes the Azot branch in Berezniki, Perm-based Mineral Fertilizers , the branch OJSC KCCW MFP in Kirovo-Chepetsk and OJSC Voskresenskiye Mineral Fertilizers.
