Russian Eurobonds move in lateral trend in anticipation of Bernanke speech

MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Russian Eurobonds moved in a lateral trend on Friday in anticipation of U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's speech, while US Treasuries were also adrift around previously reached levels, resulting in practically static sovereign spreads.

By 5:13 p.m. Moscow time, Russia's benchmark 2030 bond had grown 6 basis points over Thursday's closing to 124.97%, yielding 3.07% per annum (3.08% p.a. on August 30).

Ten-year US Treasuries fell 9 b.p. to 99.91%, yielding 1.63% p.a. (1.62% p.a. on Thursday).

Yield between these and UST10 narrowed just 2 basis points to 144 basis points.
