Globaltrans eyes Evraz-Trans, MMK-Trans

MOSCOW. Sept 3. (Interfax) - Rail freighter Globaltrans is interested in Evraz-Trans and MMK-Trans, which are captive rail freight operators for steel producers Evraz plc and Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) , respectively, and other such assets, Sergei Maltsev, the CEO of Globaltrans, said at a conference call.

"We're in talks with a whole range of companies, not just Evraz. You know there is a desire to sell the Magnitogorsk plant's company," he said.
