Great Britain will not admit foreigners breaking human rights - embassy
MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Foreigners violating human rights will be banned entry to Great Britain.
"Foreign nationals who come from outside the European Economic Area may only come to the UK if they satisfy the requirements of the Immigration Rules. Where there is independent, reliable and credible evidence that an individual has committed human rights abuses the individual will not normally be permitted to enter the UK," a British Embassy spokesman told Interfax.
Earlier reports said that the British Embassy in Moscow had received from London the Magnitsky list that would be submitted to the Russian authorities.
"The UK has a long-established and globally consistent practice of not routinely commenting on individual visa cases. The government and previous governments have pursued that policy and it remains our approach," the embassy spokesman said.
