Man opens fire at trolley bus in central Moscow at night
MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - A man opened fire at a trolleybus on Solyanka Street in Moscow's center early on Monday morning, the city police told Interfax.
"The trolleybus driver told the police he heard a shot at about 1:00 a.m. and saw a crack in the right-side front window," the police said, noting there were no passengers on the bus at the moment.
An inquiry has begun.
Public transport in Moscow has been attacked regularly since early summer.
Hooligans damaged two buses in eastern Moscow on September 5, the police told Interfax.
