Russian, Moldovan govt delegations talk at working breakfast
MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Moldovan counterpart Vlad Filat are taking part in Russian-Moldovan negotiations on Tuesday. The meeting is being held in the form of a working breakfast.
The meeting participants intend to discuss a broad range of economic issues, specifically, energy supply to Moldova and the import of Moldovan agricultural products, wine and cognac to Russia.
Russia is represented in the negotiations by Deputy Prime Minister and presidential special envoy on the Transdniestrian Republic Dmitry Rogozin, who also co-chairs the Russian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, as well as the regional development minister, the interior minister, and deputy foreign ministers, deputy economic development ministers, and deputy energy ministers. Gazprom is represented by Valery Golubev.
Moldova is represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, Deputy Prime Minister and Economics Minister Valeriu Lazar, as well as the Moldovan ministers of internal affairs, regional development and construction, and agriculture.
