Flights likely to be delayed at Sheremetyevo due to power supply problems
MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Flights due to arrive at and depart from Terminal D at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport are likely to be delayed over power supply problems, the airport press service told Interfax.
An electrical surge in the morning led to power problems at the terminal, it said.
"Power supply has not been restored yet and delays in the flight schedule are possible. The passengers were advised to turn to information desks for additional information on the time of arrivals and departures. Terminal D has been switched to a reserve system," the press service said.
Aeroflot said efforts are being made to fix the problem.
It said flights could be delayed by about an hour, depending on how fast the repair work proceeds.
