Putin to visit Kazakhstan on September 19 - Kremlin
MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan to attend the 9th Russian-Kazakh Inter-Regional Cooperation Forum in Pavlodar jointly with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Kremlin press service has reported.
Putin will hold talks with Nazarbayev on the most essential aspects of Russian-Kazakh cooperation in priority areas, as well as integration processes, including in the context of the Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan Customs Union and Common Economic Space, plus a regional and international agenda.
A series of events will be held in the corridors of the forum to be joined by Russian and Kazakh officials and business people. Bilateral agreements are expected to be signed.
The current forum will focus on innovative bilateral cooperation, new mechanisms of inter-regional interaction in the areas of sustained development and high technologies, and joint scientific and technical projects.
