Vashadze said Paet, on behalf of the EU, and he signed an implementation protocol on readmission of individuals living in the EU without residence permits.
Paet said at the conference that his frequent visits to Tbilisi point to special relations between the two countries.
"The reforms being pursued in Georgia are proceeding in the right direction, which promotes Georgia's integration into NATO and the European Union," he said.
"Georgia should decide on its future itself and choose organizations with which it wants to build relations, and also only NATO can decide who will be its member. Third countries cannot affect this decision in anyway," he said.
