Russian Technologies chief reelected chairman of KamAZ board of directors

MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The board of directors at Russia's biggest truck-builder OJSC KamAZ reelected on Wednesday Russian Technologies General Director Sergei Chemezov as board chairman, the company press service told Interfax.

The Wednesday meeting also addressed a number of ongoing issues and the company's operations report for the first half of the year, the company said.

The board of directors consists of 11 persons, including: Chemezov, his deputy Igor Zavyalov, general director for KamAZ, Sergei Kogogin, the chairman of the plant's trade union committee, Gumer Nuretdinov, Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, executive vice president of Daimler, Hubertus Troska, the head of Troika Dialog Investment Company , Ruben Vardanyan, general director of CJSC Troika Dialog Financial Consultant, Mikhail Broitman, and executive director of Troika Dialog Financial Broker Sergei Skvortsov. In addition, the chairman of Vnesheconombank, Vladimir Dmitriyev, and independent consultant and partner at Septem Partners, Ilkka Seppo Salonen, sit on the board.

KamAZ Group posted 1.82 billion rubles in net profit according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) for 2011 compared to net losses for 2010. The company's net losses for 2010 came to 889 million rubles. The group's sales revenue for 2011 increased by 44.8% to 106.8 billion rubles.

The company's main shareholders are Russian Technologies, Troika Dialog, and Daimler.
