Rosatom uncertain about joining Horizon Nuclear Power project

LONDON. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Rosatom is not sure whether it will join the Horizon Nuclear Power (HNP) project with Germany's E.On and RWE in Britain.

"A final decision on participating in the Horizon project has not yet been reached," the Russian state nuclear corporation's deputy CEO, Kirill Komarov, told reporters.

"This is too serious a decision, we need time to understand and accept in what forms and alliances we would enter the UK nuclear industry," Komarov said.

"Since the Horizon subject needs a prompt reaction this is probably not the form in which we would like to participate," he said.
