Tax returns for Russia's consolidated budget up 12.5% in 8M to 7.25 trln rubles

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Tax returns for Russia's consolidated budget grew 12.5% year-on-year in January-August to 7.253 trillion rubles, the Federal Tax Service said in materials.

The federal budget received 3.402 trillion rubles in tax and regional budgets got 3.851 trillion rubles.

Local budgets received 590.904 billion rubles tax.

The consolidated budget received 1.538 trillion rubles in profit tax, up 5.3% year-on-year, and 1.623 trillion rubles in natural resource extraction tax (NRET), up 24.3%. VAT on goods sold in Russia rose 6.1% to 1.222 trillion rubles, and VAT on goods brought into Russia (paid into to the federal budget) rose 11.5% to 65.588 billion rubles.

Income tax, paid into the regional budgets, totaled 1.405 trillion rubles.
