MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - VTB 24 finished placing its third series of mortgage bonds worth 6 billion rubles on Friday, the lender said in a statement.

The placement was made under closed subscription in favor of Vnesheconombank (VEB) and LLC VEB Capital.

VTB 24's mortgage bond issue is comprised of two tranches. Tranche A is worth 4 billion rubles, and tranche B - 2 billion rubles.

The coupon rate for tranche A bonds was set at 9% per annum for the entire circulation period, and for tranche B it was set at 3%.

The bonds were placed at face value of 1,000 rubles and will mature on September 15, 2044.

The Central Bank of Russia registered VTB 24's third mortgage bond series on August 24. Tranche A was assigned state registration number 41001623
