Russian oil export duty to rise $25 to $418.9/tonne Oct 1

MOSCOW. Sept 25. (Interfax) - The export duty on oil from Russia will increase by $25.1 to $418.9 a tonne on October 1, from $393.8 per tonne at present, according to a government decree.

The discounted duty for oil from East Siberia, Caspian fields and the Prirazlomnoye field will be $210.1/tonne on October 1, compared to the current rate of $191.3/tonne.

The duty on superviscous oil, which is 10% of the duty on oil, will rise to $41.8/tonne as of October 1 from the $39.3/tonne that went into effect on September 1.

The duty on light and dark petroleum products, which was unified to 66% of the duty on crude oil as of October 1, 2011, will increase to $276.4/tonne from October 1 this year, from $259.9/tonne in September.

The duty on gasoline exports, based on a ratio of 0.9, will be raised to $377.0/tonne as of October 1 from $354.4/tonne in September.

The duty on liquefied gas will climb to $172.5/tonne on October 1, from $76.2/tonne in September.
