Rosneft gets oil section in Ingushetia for 156 mln rubles - Rosnedra

MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Rosneft has won a tender for a license to engage in geological study, exploration, and production of hydrocarbon materials at the Sernovodskoye section in Ingushetia, Russia's Federal Subsoil Agency, Rosnedra, said in its materials.

The company offered a one-time payment of 156 million rubles and was declared the winner since it made the only application for this section.

The Sernovodskoye section covers 59.1 square kilometers. A total of 13 wells have been drilled at this section (seven of which have been abandoned, three are idle waiting for liquidation, one has been mothballed, and two are in operation). The Sernovodskoye oil field has was discovered at the section.

Recoverable C1 oil reserves at the Sernovodskoye field come to 763,000 tonnes. C2 reserves come to 154,000 tonnes. Forecast D1 oil reserves at the field stand at 1 million tonnes.
