Transdniestria leader to travel to Chisinau for talks with PM
CHISINAU. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Moldova Prime Minister Vlad Filat is expected to meet on Wednesday with Transdniestrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk.
The press will only be allowed to attend the beginning of the talks for filming, Filat said in an interview with the Moldova 1 television station.
"There is good communication between us, which can be seen not only in public, but also in telephone conversations and during talks whenever necessary," the prime minister said.
On criticism of the "small steps" policy with regards to Transdniestria, Filat said it is a forced measure in conditions when major steps are impossible.
