Space junk no more a threat to ISS - source
MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax-AVN) - The earlier planned maneuver of the International Space Station (ISS) to evade collision with space debris will not be performed as the junk will fly past the station, a source with the Russian Mission Control Center told Interfax-AVN on Thursday.
"According to calculations of Russian and American ballisticians, the space debris left the zone in which it pose threat to the ISS. In this connection a decision to cancel the earlier planned evasion maneuver was made," the source said.
