MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - MICEX-RTS Moscow Exchange will transfer common shares in diamond miner Alrosa from the second tier A quotations list to the first tier A quotation list on October 2, the exchange said in a statement.

In addition, shares in OJSC RusHydro will also join the first tier A quotations list on October 2.

The exchange allowed Alrosa's common shares into trading on the second tier A list on April 23.

Alrosa shares started trading on the MICEX at the end of November at 35 rubles apiece.

The director of the Economic Development Ministry's property relations department, Alexei Uvarov, said in June that the placement of 14% of the shares in Alrosa (7% from the federal state and 7% from Yakutia's interest) might take place on the MICEX in 2012.

The Russian government has decided to sell its controlling stake in Alrosa by 2016. However, the timeframe and method of privatization have yet to be determined.

Russia owns 50.92% in Alrosa through the federal property agency (Rosimushchestvo), Yakutia's Property Relations Ministry - 32%, and eight Yakutia ulus (districts) - total stake of 8%. The company's free float comes to 9.07%. One of the major minority shareholders is Suleiman Kerimov's Nafta Moskva with 1%. Alrosa's management controls 0.18%, including company president Fyodor Andreyev with 0.11% and vice president Sergei Pushkin with 0.05%.
