Saratov oil refinery halted indefinitely because of fire - official

SARATOV, Russia. Oct 4 (Interfax) -The Saratov Petroleum Refinery was suspended for an indefinite period on Thursday because of a fire at one of its main units, said First Deputy Industry and Energy Minister Maxim Shakhalov.

"An ad hoc commission is being set up today, and after its [inquiry] conclusions will be drawn on the further operation of the refinery," Shakhalov told Interfax.
