Hungarian Atomenergomash subsidiary to supply 20 mln euro of equipment for Russian NPPs
PRAGUE. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Ganz EEM, the Hungarian subsidiary of OJSC Atomenergomash, has signed pump unit supply contracts for the Rostov and Baltic Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) worth over 20 million euro in the framework of the Atomex-Europe forum, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.
These contracts envisage equipment deliveries for the Rostov NPP by the end of July 2013 and for the Baltic NPP by the end of 2016.
Atomenergomash acquired 51% of Ganz EEM's stock in 2010. Prior to that, the Russian-Hungarian joint venture had functioned on the basis of the Ganz factory since 2008.
Over half of the Hungarian company's order book, which is worth roughly 40 million euro, is made up of Russian contracts.
Atomenergomash is the energy machine-building division of Russian State Nuclear Energy Company Rosatom, uniting over 50 companies in Russia and abroad.
