Kremlin administration head Ivanov to meet with French colleague

PARIS. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Russian Presidential Administration Head Sergei Ivanov has arrived in France. He leads the Russian delegation to ceremonies marking the end of the Moscow-Paris horseback campaign on the occasion of bicentenary celebrations of Russia's historic victory over France in September 1812.

Ivanov held a working meeting with Pierre-Rene Lemas, Secretary-General of the French Presidency, at the Elysee Palace to discuss the development of friendly relations in the context of the agreements reached at the Paris negotiations of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande in June.

Ivanov will visit the Museum of His Majesty's Lifeguards Cossack Regiment in the Paris suburb of Courbevoie on Saturday.

The central event of the working visit would be the conclusion of the Moscow-Paris horseback campaign to take place at a hippodrome at the French royal chateaux Fontainebleau.
