Former Ukrainian President Kuchma's ex-bodyguard Melnychenko detained in Kyiv

KYIV. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Mykola Melnychenko, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma's bodyguard, was detained at Borispol Airport in Kyiv on Wednesday. Melnychenko was on an international wanted list, the Ukrainian Security Service's press center informed Interfax.

"Security personnel and border guards detained Ukrainian citizen Melnychenko, wanted internationally, at Borispol Airport on October 24 under an order issued by the Shevchenkivskiy District Court in Kyiv," the press center said.
