Medvedev signs order to auction off North Rogozhnikovskoye field

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order to auction off the North Rogozhnikovskoye field, which has federal value, in 2012.

Alexander Popov, the head of the Russian Federal Subsurface Resources Agency (Rosnedra), has said that the auction will take place in the middle of December at a starting price of 13.5-14 billion rubles.

North Rogozhnikovskoye has C1 oil reserves of 32.9 million tonnes, C2 oil reserves of 57.4 million tonnes, and C3 oil resources of 7.2 million tonnes.
