Talks begin with abductors of Russian sailors in Nigeria - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has urged all parties to demonstrate restraint as talks have begun to free the Russian sailors abducted in Nigeria.

"The most delicate stage has begun, which aims to start talks with the abductors," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said at a press briefing in Moscow.

"At this stage all the parties involved and concerned should demonstrate restraint in order not to derail the effort to free the abducted sailors," Lukashevich said.
