CIS summit in Ashgabat postponed - Executive Committee
MINSK. Oct 26 (Interfax) - A CIS summit, initially set to take place in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat at the beginning of November, has been postponed.
"A new date for the summit is currently being discussed, including with the presidents of CIS countries," a CIS Executive Committee source told Interfax in Minsk on Friday, declining to disclose further details.
At their summit in Ashgabat, the CIS leaders plan to discuss 20 or so documents aimed at "deepening regional cooperation in the economy, humanitarian affairs, security and other issues," he said.
