Support to go to companies launching domestic production with foreign technology - Rogozin

TOMILINO, near Moscow. Oct 26 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government will support companies that will launch domestic production based on foreign technology, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said at the National Helicopter Construction Center on Friday.

"The government will support manufacturers if they negotiate an agreement with foreign partners on launching local production with the transfer of technology, the transfer of the ideology of production and technology," Rogozin said.

In the guise of foreign equipment assembly in Russia, this equipment is actually being exported to Russia which ruins domestic production, he said.

"The government will work to minimize this primitive, a completely knocked down assembly," Rogozin said.
