Russia's Economic Development Ministry has no plans to raise 2012 inflation forecast - Belousov
MOSCOW. Oct 31 (Interfax) - Russia's Economic Development Ministry still has no plans to raise its inflation forecast for 2012, which comes to 7%, Economic Development Minister Andrei Belousov told journalists on Wednesday.
"So far, no," he said when asked by journalists whether the inflation forecast would be changed.
It was earlier reported that ministry raised its inflation forecast for October from 0.6%-0.7% to 0.7%-0.8%. At the same time, inflation between the start of this year and the end of October might come to around 6% and in order that the ministry's inflation forecast is met, inflation in November-December should not top 0.5%-0.6% a month on average.
The ministry should present its adjusted macroeconomic forecast to the government at the start of December.
