Rosneft's IFRS net profit totals 181 bln rubles for Q3, beats forecasts

MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Oil company Rosneft's net profit according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) in the third quarter of this year came to 181 billion rubles compared to 8 billion rubles in losses for the second quarter, the company said in a statement.

Analysts earlier surveyed by Interfax forecast the company's net profit in the third quarter at 118 billion rubles.

Rosneft's sales revenue in the third quarter increased from the second quarter by 11.7% to 802 billion rubles.

Analysts expected this figure to come to 769 billion rubles.

Rosneft's EBITDA for the third quarter reached 191 billion rubles, up 14.6% from the second quarter.

Analysts earlier forecast EBITDA at 175 billion rubles.
