MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Former head of the Russian Defense Ministry's property department Yevgenia Vasilyeva, whose home was searched in the Oboronservice inquiry, might have left Russia, a law enforcer familiar with the situation told Interfax.

Investigative procedures took place at the Defense Ministry's Oboronservice on October 25 on suspicions of fraud worth more than 3 billion rubles. Vasilyeva's office and home were searched amongst others.
Apart from documents essential for the inquiry, the police seized over 3 million rubles, antique pieces, several dozens of paintings and plenty of jewelry from Vasilyeva, Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said.
