Russia calls on NATO to scrap military planning against each other - Rogozin

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's leadership has long been asking NATO to agree to stop drafting military plans against each other, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.

"We know that NATO's Nuclear Planning Group is still working. We perfectly realize that Russian cities and major industrial enterprises are present on the map for the possible use of these weapons. Let's try to eventually accommodate each other's needs and begin working to totally abandon such a barbarian way of military force application," he said at the Nuclear Weapons and International Security in the 21st Century conference, hosted by Moscow State Institute of International Relations, on Thursday.
