RZD replaces two VPs

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Railways (RZD) has appointed two new vice-presidents, the company said in a statement.

Alexander Tselko, as vice-president, will oversee RZD's infrastructure. Alexei Illarionov will oversee information technologies.

However, Georgy Kornilov was relieved as RZD vice-president. He was appointed director for social programs at RZD. Another vice-president, Alexander Tishanin, was relieved upon his own request.

Tselko graduated the Novosibirsk Institute for Railway Engineers with specialization in railway operations. Between 2002 and 2005 he was head of the Western-Siberian railway. He has sat on RZD's managing board since 2005.

Illarionov graduated Leningrad Polytechnic Institute with specialization in applied mathematics. Between 2005 and 2007 he worked as head of RZD's corporate informatization project. Since March 2007, he has headed RZD's department for informatization and corporate procedures.
