Girl in hospital after man sets fire to her - Russian agency

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - A girl was hospitalized with multiple burns after a man poured alcohol over her and set fire to her in a town near Moscow, Russia's top criminal investigation agency said.

"In Pavlov Posad, a man assaulted a six-year-old girl and hit her on the head, after which he poured alcohol over her and set fire to her," Investigative Committee spokeswoman Irina Gumennaya told Interfax.

The man tried to escape but was arrested by police, she said.
