Ukrainian aircraft developer Antonov boosts net profit 12% in Jan-Sept

KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Antonov (Kyiv), a Ukrainian state company that develops aircraft, increased net profit by 11.99% year-on-year to UAH160.53 million in the first nine months of 2012, the firm reported in a statement filed with the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

The company's net revenue grew 7.8% to UAH2.11 billion in the nine months, gross profit edged up 0.84% to UAH518.24 million and operating profit increased by 2.11% to UAH293.98 million.

Antonov, along with a number of other aircraft plants, has been part of the Antonov state holding company since 2008.

The official exchange rate for November 8 was UAH7.993/$1.
