NOVATEK IFRS net profits up 23% at 51 bln rubles in 9M

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Independent gas producer NOVATEK made 50.9 billion rubles in net profits to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in January-September, a 22.9% year-on-year increase, the company reported.

Sales revenues for the nine months were up 21.3% at 152.2 billion rubles. That was due higher natural gas and liquid hydrocarbon prices and sales volume, the company said.

Operating profits were also up for the period - 13.1% at 64.1 billion rubles.
